About me

I have practised for over thirty years as a solicitor, the vast majority of which was at, and for half the time as senior partner of, Tassells solicitors in Faversham, where I still live. Throughout my time I dealt with Wills, powers of attorney, trusts and estates, and before that with disputes following family separations. I added Notary Public to this list in 2024.

I have been accredited in each post; I am still a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly SFE) and previously was a family law panel member and collaborative lawyer.

My first degree was in medicine, and although I did not follow that path beyond university, I still like to think of myself as a scientist.

I am now a notary full-time, enjoying the insight into the legal systems of other nations that this brings.
